Owners of Sunset Bay Resort, Lawrence and Sonnia Minshull have dedicated years of providing exceptional hospitality and creating lasting memories for their guests since 1986. Their passion for hospitality, combined with their diverse trade experiences, led them to fulfill their dream of making Sunset Bay Resort a Premier Four-Season Family Vacation Destination.

The Sunset Bay Team
The Sunset Bay Team takes tremendous pride in the resort and has cultivated a wonderful sense of community among the clients who have become family. Lawrence and Sonnia always put together a great working team each year. The team is proud to be part of and take ownership of achieving the goal, mission, and vision of Sunset Bay Resort. The marina team is there to make your experience of loading and launching your watercraft easy. Knowing how to get you into a canoe for the first time or to send you off sailing on a paddle board. They are anxious to hear about your day and ensure that you and our guests are looked after from refuelling, to treats for everyone. The housekeeping and yard team pays attention to detail. Your home away from home is clean from ceiling to floor, the linens are fresh, and the beds are comfortable for that well-deserved rest. The yard team ensures that the grounds are nicely manicured, trees are trimmed, and nothing is out of place.

Fresh, Clean, and Convenient! Our On-Site Laundromat is the ultimate convenience for clean clothes and fresh linens. With iron-filtered and softened well water, your garments will look and feel their best. Our laundromat is the go-to spot for both visitors and locals, being the only laundromat within 50 kilometers. Plus, our vehicle vacuum is located alongside the laundromat will keep your car looking just as clean as your laundry. There is no need to take your laundry home with you, or if you have had a spill that you need your clothes clean now, our laundromat is open daily to the public year-round. There are nine top-load commercial washers and four front-load gas dryers all coin-operated. Change and single-serve laundry soap and softener sheets are available at the office. Join us for hassle-free laundry days!

Treat yourself to a sweet delight at our confectionery, where ice cream and cold refreshments await you. Don’t forget to fuel your boats with premium fuel from our Marina and set sail for a fantastic day on the water.
Sunset Bay Resort trailer park is only two hours from Saskatoon, or a half hour north of Prince Albert, on the Scenic Highway 263 to the Prince Albert National Park. Each site has 30-amp power treated well water, septic, and the taxes and fees are included in yearly rent. Steps away from the Beach, Marina, Buns Bagels, Laundromat, Cabins, Lodge and Playground. You never know when a seasonal or permanent R.V. Site will become available.
